Topographers Compatible with the BE Retainer and BE Studio Software
Topographers that can be used with the BE Studio Software for fitting the BE Retainer lens include:
· Medmont E300
· Humphrey Atlas Download PDF of Instructions
· Marco 3D Wave and 3D System
· Keratron/Scout Download PDF of Instructions
· Oculus EasyGraph
· Eyesys
· Orbscan
These topographers have been listed in order preference based on accuracy and compatibility with the BE System.
For topographers not mentioned here, determine if your topographer can calculate/provide:
1. Apical Curvature (Ro)
2. Eccentricity (E-value)
3. Horizontal Visible Iris Diameter (HVID)
4. Subtractive/Difference Map
If yes, you will be able to use the BE Studio Software; however, we can’t predict how easily and/or successfully based on unknown factors such as standard deviation of error.
If you are unsure if your topographer can provide the required information, you may want to contact the manufacturer of your topographer for assistance.
