Thinsite 2, made exclusively in Boston XO2, EO, or ES material, is a single vision GP lens design with an ultra thin profile that enhances centration and promotes initial and long term comfort. The unique manufacturing technology and advanced material design properties enable Art Optical to maintain an ultra thin lens with maximum oxygen delivery for optimum corneal health. The new improved lens profile features the stability and flexural resistance of standard thickness lenses, while improving the lens-to-cornea fitting relationship resulting in increased patient comfort.
The Thinsite 2 lens design features:
- Reduced mass to allow for greater centering of the optical zone and increased oxygen performance compared to standard thickness designs
- Junctionless aspheric front and back surface that reduces lid interaction and lens awareness for easier patient adaptation
Thinsite 2 is ideal for:
- Myopic and hyperopic patients who desire crisp, clear vision. Fits up to 95% of all contact lens candidates
- Patients with less than 3.00D of with-the-rule astigmatism
- Any GP lens refit
