Gabe joined the Art Optical IS Team in April 2013 and has quickly established a reputation for himself as a competent go-to guy for solving a whole myriad of Information Technology-related problems and tasks.
Gabe has a down-to-earth, but confident approach to his work and he has a good rapport with all associates and managers. He brings a diverse set of IT skills to the organization and that gives him the ability to perform the full range of tasks required to support the complex operating systems of the company. Gabe’s efforts have brought significant efficiencies to many aspects of our day-to-day business. Among the many projects he has worked on over the last year, some of his most noteworthy are:
A) Setting up the Technical Training Center with video conferencing capability
B) Converting several forms processes from all-paper to electronic
C) Setting up secure VPN capabilities.
D) Programming, testing & implementing the FlexFit support modules
Lastly, during the occasional ‘panic / emergency’ moment when a system goes haywire, a file gets corrupted, you name it, it is nice to have Gabe available to assist. He always knows what steps he can take to bring the problem to a resolution quickly, and to prevent avoidable downtime.
